Break the ice and have a cold drink too! Join us after work at Loxley’s Restaurant in Lancaster to mix and mingle in our own private (and air conditioned!) room. Network with other local talent development professionals while enjoying a drink and some appetizers (appetizers provided by Central PA ATD).  In the spirit of the summer Olympics, we will engage in some friendly competition. 

IceBreaker Olympic Format:

Sign up in advance indicating that you are interested in participating in the Ice-Breaker Olympics by sending an email to icebreaker@learningpowerup.com.  Or just bring your own icebreaker idea. 

The first 10 participants who indicate their willingness to participate in the competition will engage the room in their icebreaker activity.

A maximum of 10 participants will be allowed to compete.  Participants will be judged by the audience on the following criteria: 

1. Ability to clearly articulate the instructions
2. Originality of the icebreaker activity
3. Ability to foster collaboration (break the ice)
4. Form
5. Choreography
6. Dismount
7. Technique

Instructions and activity should take no longer than 10 minutes.  It is reasonable that the icebreaker may take longer than 10 minutes to execute.  However, due to time constraints, we will end the icebreaker activity after 10 minutes so the next competitor can share their activity.

• Silver Medal: $15 gift card
• Bronze Medal: $10 gift card
