It’s that time of year when New Year’s resolutions abound. Everyone is vowing to eat healthier, exercise more and get rid of the clutter. Well, what about our spiritual health, mental exercise and internal clutter? Those things deserve attention too.

Join us for an enlightening evening with Tony Hernandez, experienced facilitator and life coach. Tony will be leading us in an experiential encounter which will include the following steps:

  1.        Pause: The session will begin with a mindful break.
  2.        Expand: In this stage you are invited to search for the unknown, not knowing where it will lead.
  3.        Focus: Now you will focus on your most significant insights.
  4.        Doing: Finally, it’s time to advance from thought to action.

In addition, attendees will have the opportunity to purchase a set of the Points of You tools at a discounted rate of $199.

About the Speaker:

As a facilitator and educator for the past 20 years, Antonio (Tony) Hernandez, Jr. has created and developed practices that hold groups to a standard where every person feels a sense of purpose, engagement and belonging. He continues to use these practices among adult learners and diversity practitioners to have mindful conversations in which they can claim their distinct identities and embrace the value they bring to the community.

Antonio has a Master’s of Education and Human Development from George Washington University. He’s a certified Critical Friends Group Facilitator from the National School Reform Faculty, a Responsive Classroom teacher and Points of You Trainer. Besides being an educator, community engagement is another area about which Antonio is passionate.  He serves as a grant reviewer for the Lancaster County Community Foundation. He’s also a Commissioner for the Millersville University President’s Commission for Cultural Diversity and Inclusion, a Leadership Facilitator for the Latino Empowerment Project and serves as a board member for Girl Scouts in the Heart of Pennsylvania, the Latin American Cultural Center and for Leadership Lancaster.

New Member/Prospective Member Meet & Greet:

We'd like to invite you to join us just prior to the event at 5:30 pm for our New Member/Prospective Member Meet & Greet.

This is a great way to connect with other new members and discuss the value that membership with our chapter can offer YOU. Additionally, we will have people from our Membership team there to answer any questions you may have about the chapter.

When you check in, just let our greeter know you are interested in joining the Meet & Greet, and he or she will direct you. We hope to see you there!

Thank you to our Advocate Sponsor!
