Onboarding is one of the most common talent development responsibilities and crucial for retention and engagement, but onboarding programs are often considered a waste of time by all involved. Why does it matter? What are the most common problems and how can they be fixed? What do newcomers really need? What are the best practices and the keys to implementing them effectively? What are the pitfalls to avoid?

Angela Rogers will answer those questions and more by sharing practical applications gleaned from 150+ research studies conducted over 40 years. Join us on May 19 for an exploration into onboarding best practices at this event co-hosted by ATD Pittsburgh chapter.
