Using the metaphor of the Mind as a Garden, we will explore a few simple techniques for nourishing our brains and hearts to support lifelong learning habits. We will use the collective wisdom of the group to also brainstorm ideas that help you take action on an important next step in your personal or professional learning goals.

We are excited to partner with the ATD Metro DC Chapter for this informative lunchtime event!  Join Mariam Hutchinson for an informative session focusing on Intellectual well-being and strategies for boosting brain health that support lifelong learning habits.  We hope you can join us for a little mental afternoon stretch and learn together!

Presenter:

Mariam Hutchinson is a Leadership Coach, Facilitator, Organizational Development Consultant, and a proud Mom of two lifelong learners.

Through her work experience over the last 20 years, she has served in numerous learning and development roles for a variety of small and large organizations, including a community bank, a non-profit educational association, a public university, a Fortune 500 management consulting firm, and a leading global provider of health and human services.

Today, as the Owner of Learning Productions, she provides adult learning experiences that engage the mind, body, and heart. The intended outcome of these experiences is to increase self-awareness and to inspire learners to contribute their strengths in ways that are most meaningful in their personal and professional lives. Her primary passions include career development coaching for working mothers, mentoring new Learning and Development professionals, and facilitating learning experiences for new people managers and newly formed teams to improve intrapersonal and interpersonal communication skills.
